My trip to the UK
Sorry, this particular post is not about Madeline, though I miss her very much! I am currently in Manchester, UK, heading home tomorrow. I’m on a work trip but got to see a variety of sights while I’ve been out here, including Yorkminster, Clifford’s Tower, and Wayne Manor from the most recent Batman movie.
The Flying Horse, a pub in Nottingham dating back to 1483.
The entrance to Wollarton Park, where Wayne Manor awaits.
Wayne Manor from the side…
…the front…
…the rear…
…and from down the hill.
Old man with an owl.
And that’s Wayne Manor in the distance beyond a nearby pondy-lake thing.
“Scheme” isn’t the word I’d use to describe a campus area, but ok.
Nottingham Castle. LAME. If only they’d kept the original in this spot…
Robin Hood.
Downtown York.
St. Peter’s.
Really glad I didn’t need that number for anything.
Yorkminster, highlighted by a big red traffic signal.
College of Costume? Really? And the name implies there are *multiple*?
Micklegate.
Clifford’s Tower. This thing is OLD.
York Castle Museum.
Mansion House.
Hospitium.
Leeds Town Hall.
Nice!! Lots of great photos of many different places. Did you actually WORK while in the UK? Wny no photo’s of you at WORK teaching the Brits about database stuff???
