Madeline’s first swim class

Today was Madeline’s first swim class. Henry had started last week and tested the waters for us (see what I did there?). The kids are so close in age that it’s easy to compare them constantly and this time was no different. Since he was such a natural last week, we were curious to see how Madeline would react to her first time in the water. She loved it. LOVED IT.

Last night, when we were getting ready for the morning, we realized that the new bathing suit Lucy had gotten Madeline was way too small for our chunky monkey…so when we got to the pool we bought her a swim diaper and called it a day. And honestly, what other clothing do you need when you’re rocking the AMAZING swim cap that Auntie Lis and Auntie Monique got you?? In all seriousness, when we put that cap on her, the rest of the parents in the pool gasped in delight. She was too cute!

We can’t wait for next week!
