Madeline turns one!

Our little Madeline has come a long way. These are similar photos at 3 months and at one year… she still loves the light Pepe put up for her (click either to enlarge):

This morning we celebrated keeping a human alive for a year with mimosas:

And then we had a little birthday party.

There were sunflower cupcakes, a pumpkin spiced cake disguised as a pumpkin…

…and neat acorn-shaped dew drops (Timbits for my fellow Canadians) dipped in Nutella and chocolate sprinkles or heath:

We had real corn stalks, and scarecrows… a real fall birthday!

Her favorite gift, I think, was the Pandora bracelet from Mem.
