North Bay, Part Two
On our last day in North Bay, we left Madeline with Nana (my mom), had poutine, then went out on the lake. When we went back to Nana’s we looked at some old pictures. See any resemblance? From top left, that’s Nana, then me, then Nicole, then Madeline at the bottom.
And then the three of us, at different times obviously (from left, my mom, my sister, and me):
Some other pics from our day (and again, click any to see hi-res):
Then we headed right into a snowstorm at 10 PM last night to make the long trek home to Rhode Island. When we got home, we had our new Nexus cards waiting for us (we interviewed for these when we were in Halifax on this trip, so that’s a pretty quick turnaround):
Now I just need to get Nicole into TSAPre and we will be all set for any international travel that comes our way.
I want to extend a very warm thank you to all of those that showed us great hospitality during our trip. I wouldn’t trade any of that for anything, but I will admit that I am very happy to be falling asleep in my own bed tonight…
Did M get her nexus too? A has one – they can be travel buddies!
Now THAT is real ice fishing! Glad
You all enjoyed the trip!
Cool photos, I can not even get my daughter to go walking 4 miles in 30 degree weather w/o complaints. You know it is cold when there is a stove in the ice shack. Hope you had a good time – John
